Tentative Ruling in Favor of CPhA

in 10% Medi-Cal Cut Lawsuit

In Los Angeles Federal court today, CPhA and its coalition of Medi-Cal providers argued their case before Judge Christine Snyder for a preliminary injunction to halt the implementation of the 10% Medi-Cal provider cuts that were part of last year's State Budget and were approved in September by CMS.

CPhA won a tentative ruling to block the cuts!

We expect to receive a final ruling within the next week.

CPhA continues to need your support to help fund the legal battle against the cuts. The hold placed on the implementation of the cuts is only the first step in a lengthy legal proceeding that is necessary to ensure the cuts are never implemented.

오늘 아침(1월 30일 월요일 오전 10시)에 있었던Medical  10% cut 에 대한 예비심리(Preliminary injunction) 두번째 Hearing 결과 Report  입니다

아직 Final ruling은  내려지지 않았지만  지난 1차 공판때와 마찬가지로  우리쪽에 한 걸음 더 유리한 쪽으로 결정 될것 같다는 평입니다. 아직은 시작단계에 지나지 않지만 앞으로 다시는 state에서 이 문제를 거론하지 못하도록 하는 첫벗째 단추가 끼워 졌다는데 의의가 있었다고  평가 됩니다.

협회에서는 지난번 CPhA 에 $5000 donation한 이후 이번에는 Lynn Carman Group (CPhA와 병행해서 Lawsuit을 진행하고 있는 Team)에 $5000 Donation할 예정입니다
